A sergeant of the Royal Malay Regiment of Murut ethnicity. Like Major Ravi Kumar, he too witnesses the supernatural phenomenon called the penanggalan, or the bodiless vampire. A very experienced scout, Sergeant Hassan is well-versed with the Sabahan terrain and is also an accomplished boatman.
