Angel trumpet flower

Also known as datura flower or kecubung. The poisonous flower, when added to food or drink, is used to paralyse or render the victim unconscious. In the case of the legendary Communist rebel Mat Indera (d. 1953), the purple datura flower was used to lace his coffee. Because of his alleged practice of magic, charms were removed from his body whilst he was unconscious. It’s said that he was tied with strips of long grass. He wasn’t handcuffed. If so, this is also a form of magic.
