Book talk: horror, authenticity and AI for Future Of Skills podcast

In the digital age, information is at your fingertips. Look up Wikipedia and you can discover anything about everything. The challenge for the author, says Salina Christmas, is to be original in the age of AI, where information is pervasive and duplication is much too easy.

LONDON, UK – On 8 December 2023, Salina Christmas, author of The Constant Companion Tales, gave a talk about book writing and authenticity for the Future Of Skills podcast, hosted by Nadya Tatarciuc Birca, Founder, STEPP Digital.

The video podcast was recorded at Level39, One Canada Square at Canary Wharf, London, UK. The event saw the author and the host discussing topics relating to the former’s two novels, The Keeper Of My Kin and A Request For Betrayal:

The author credited the ideas behind the talk to Zarina Holmes, Founder, Studio GLUE, for her developmental edits and creative direction of the horror series; the National Union of Journalists UK for its support of writers’ copyright; the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham for their advice on book publishing, and Roger Spitz, Founder, Techistential, for the idea of “anticipatory governance”.
