A type of witchcraft that prevents the practitioner from being penetrated by sharp objects or bullets. The practitioner and his protector – some sort of demon or jinn – enter into a contract that affords the former this magical protection, often at the cost of his soul. An object blessed by a shaman, such as a shirt, a belt or an amulet, has to be worn on the body.
