The Constant Companion Tales added to high school reading list

The Keeper Of My Kin and A Request for Betrayal by Salina Christmas have been added to the reading list of high schools across Malaysia.

The books have been selected by the Ministry of Education Malaysia as additional reading materials for secondary school students.

The special cover commissioned by the Ministry of Education for A Request For Betrayal features the colour brown, the colour of the earth. “Pertiwi” in Malay and Javanese means “the earth”, also the name of the goddess Prithvi Mata, or “Mother Earth”.

The author is delighted and honoured to be part of the national storytelling legacy. The books reflect Malaysia’s ambition for peace, told through the lens of fantasy.
