2018, the District of Dinding, Perak, Malaysia. The Raden sisters were close to getting rid of the flying keris, a dangerous constant companion owned by the coven of Al-Jaffari, their maternal family. But someone stole it first. Part Seven reveals more on the sinister Al-Jaffari coven, whose women own flying blades as servants (see The Night of the Flying Blades, also available in the paperback The Keeper Of My Kin).

It also continues the story of the were-tiger that haunts Wang Yilun (see the novel Request For Betrayal) and his grandson, Julian. The insatiable beast stops at nothing to claim the souls of his ‘kinsmen’, whether they like it or not.
